Our First Aid courses are designed to provide candidates with an excellent understanding of First Aid and the skills needed to deal effectively with situations where First Aid is required.


A comprehensive 3 day course, ideal for people with principle responsibility for First Aid at a company’s premises.


A 1 day course, designed to give candidates a good, solid understanding of basic First Aid skills and requirements.

In many workplaces, heavy objects often need to be moved. However, moving those objects (manual handling) can often be a cause of injury to staff. Our courses are designed to prevent your staff from sustaining an injury when completing a manual handling exercise.
Level 1
A 3 hour course for anybody requiring a basic understanding of the main principles of moving objects.
Level 2
A comprehensive 1 day course. The course will give candidates a detailed understanding of manual handling and the confidence to ensure that all staff are moving objects in a safe and secure way.

Creating a safe working environment and having a healthy workforce is highly beneficial; in today’s environment, good health and safety practices are essential for all companies.

Rapid are able to provide Health and Safety courses (accredited to national recognised standards) at levels 1 and 2.

Both courses will give candidates an excellent understanding of important health and safety issues, as well as giving them the confidence and ability to make your company’s working environment safe and secure.

An essential course for senior supervisors and managers working in the food industry. Candidates learn the principles of preventing contamination in the production of food, and thereby learn how food can be processed safely.

The course will give candidates an excellent understanding of what are the critical control points in food production. They will learn how to establish procedures, corrective actions and maintain efficient and effective records and documentation systems.

Level 1

An introductory 3 hour course for food safety, presented in a fun and informative way, ideal for anyone working in food manufacturing or catering.
Level 2

A detailed and informative 1 day course for candidates requiring a more detailed knowledge and understanding of food safety.

Our courses are run by professional and highly experienced instructors at our partner’s purpose built facilities in Wisbech.

A wide range of courses are available, catering for a novice driver taking his Forklift test for the first time, to the experienced driver, needing a refresher course.

Our courses include counterbalance truck, reach truck, cherry pickers and pedestrian pallet stackers.
If required, our instructors can also provide courses at your workplace.

Legislation now requires PCV, HGV and LGV drivers to take 35 hours of additional training every 5 years.

Rapid offers a range of training modules that can either be classroom based or practical driving.

Our CPC training modules are informative, practical and delivered by our highly experienced instructors.

Level 1
The level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness is a qualification aimed at all staff, but particularly new started, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required. Persons gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of the workplace with recognition of the contribution they may have to prevent the starting and spread of fires.

Level 2
This qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the workplace management of fire safety. Persons gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognise the consequences of a fire in any premises.
